Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of RankingSmith, a service operated by PT Citra Pintar Indonesia ("RankingSmith", "we", "us"), a company based in Indonesia. By signing up you agree to them.

1. The service

RankingSmith is a subscription service that designs and publishes interactive SEO tools (such as quizzes, calculators and comparisons) for your ecommerce store. The service includes a manual onboarding call, a strategy session, and daily tool creation by an AI agent.

2. Onboarding and what we need from you

You provide your store URL, product information and brand preferences. We do not require administrator access to your store. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us.

3. Subscription and billing

The plan costs $100 USD per month, billed in advance and renewed automatically until cancelled. Taxes may apply. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time by emailing us or using your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

5. Ownership

You keep ownership of your content and product data. Tools built for you may be used on your store under a perpetual license. We keep ownership of our underlying code, templates and methods.

6. AI-generated output

Tools and their results are generated with AI and may contain errors. We review tools before publishing, but you are responsible for checking that the output suits your business, and for any claims made to your customers.

7. No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic or sales. Search engines change their rules and results depend on many factors outside our control.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for unlawful, deceptive or harmful products or content, or to infringe others' rights. We may decline or stop work that breaches this.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use means you accept the changes.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PT Citra Pintar Indonesia ("RankingSmith") handles personal data.

What we collect

  • Your name, email and billing details (billing is processed by a third-party payment provider; we do not store full card numbers).
  • Your store URL, product information and brand preferences that you share with us.
  • Basic usage data from our website and the tools we publish, such as page views, collected through privacy-friendly analytics.

How we use it

To deliver the service, communicate with you, provide support, process payments, and improve our tools. We do not sell your personal data.

AI processing

Product and brand information may be processed by third-party AI model providers to generate your tools and their results. We do not send payment details to them.

Shoppers who use your tools

Answers entered into a tool are processed to produce results. Please make sure your own store privacy policy covers this use.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to run RankingSmith (payments, hosting, AI, email), or when required by law.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. After you cancel, we delete or anonymise it within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, in line with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022) and other laws that apply to you.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancel anytime

You can cancel your subscription at any time. You keep access until the end of the billing period you have paid for. No contracts, no cancellation fees.

14-day money-back guarantee

If you are not happy, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. No questions asked.

Missed deliveries

If we fail to deliver tools during a billing period, you can request a pro-rated refund for the tools that were not delivered.

After the first 14 days

Payments for a billing period already underway are not refundable, apart from the missed-delivery case above. Cancel to stop the next charge.

What this does not cover

We do not guarantee rankings, traffic or sales, so refunds are not offered based on search performance.

How to request a refund

Email hello@rankingsmith.com from your account email. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, usually within 7 to 10 business days.
